jGGTrans is a gateway between Jabber/XMPP and Gadu-Gadu (which is a very popular proprietary instant messaging protocol in Poland). It allows Jabber users to use their favorite XMPP client to talk with their GG-using friends.

Release Notes: This version compiles with the newest libgadu (1.9.0-rc3). libgadu is not provided with jggtrans sources any more. The new version of libgadu brings GG10 features: longer descriptions, support for "long GG numbers", and UTF-8 statuses and messages. A new configuration option, <ignore_system_messages />, has been implemented. A few changes have been merged from the Xiaoka jggtrans fork.
