All releases of JFaceDbc

Release Notes: SQL queries can now be cancelled (if JDBC drivers allow it). The Connection Info View displays all available DB information. The robustness has been improved. A bug on closing connections was fixed.

Release Notes: Gef is no longer required, since it is included inside JFaceDbc. This should mean fewer setup problems. Small improvements were made to the Hibernate extension.

Release Notes: This release includes better support for Eclipse 3.0M5 and public methods for SessionTreeNode.

Release Notes: This release supports multiple result-sets. The Oracle plugin has new wizard to execute stored procedures, functions, and packages. There is support for Eclipse 3.0M5.

Release Notes: New features include a graphical database visualizer (using GEF), table direct editing, an explain plan visualizer for the Oracle Plugin, and faster retrieval of database metadata.

Release Notes: The documentation was updated. A document was written to describe the API for extending JFaceDbc. A critical bug was fixed so that you can switch the database connection inside the SQL editor.

Release Notes: This version features support for Sybase and SQL Server. There are enhancements to the SQL editor. The documentation was updated, and there are some bugfixes for a problem where the 'more rows' action didn't work sometimes because the result set was closed, and a problem where the column in the SQL history view could not be resized.

Release Notes: A new view containing the SQL history was added. Catalog support was added, allowing you to switch the database catalog inside the SQL Editor. Support for databases with catalogs and a database structure view were added to the extension API. In the Columns tab, the data can be sorted by clicking on the column headers. A bug was fixed, so it's now possible to sort the result set by clicking on the column headers.

Release Notes: The SQLEditor now has the ability to perform undo/redo, cut/copy/paste, find, select all, and delete. The preference files have been moved from /%USER_HOME%/.JFaceDbc to /%ECLIPSE_HOME%/workspace/.metadata/.plugins/JFaceDbc. The database password can now be saved. A database connection can now be opened on eclipse startup.

Release Notes: The user interface was completely rewritten so that JFaceDbc should be perfectly integrated with Eclipse. A stand-alone application no longer exists: JFaceDbc can be run only as an Eclipe Plugin.
