Release Notes: This version includes a patch for some issues with default values in inherited templates, and a workaround for folks who need to include the period character in template slot names (see the release notes section entitled "Porting from Jess 7" for details.)

Release Notes: A deadlock problem has been fixed. This release has better performance with huge numbers of templates. NPE works when parsing empty (not) patterns. A PrettyPrinter bug with (not) and pattern bindings has been fixed.

Release Notes: This release fixes two incremental reset problems. str-cat was evaluating the first argument twice. A bug using the '|' constraint on unbound slots inside (logical) has been fixed. readline now works better in immediate mode. A query name resolution issue has been fixed. "crlf" translates to 0x0D0A on Windows.

Release Notes: This release now works as a standard extension, including loading user classes. A potential stack overflow when making heavy use of the (logical) conditional element was fixed. Error messages from jess.awt.Canvas.paint() are now flushed.
