Release Notes: A "Last files..." item was added to the "File" menu for reopening image files. The directories most recently used for opening and saving are now remembered between sessions. The window size and location are remembered between sessions. Plastic3DLookAndFeel is the default, if it is available. However, the command line option -lf takes precedence. Unsaved changes are indicated by an asterisk (*) in JDraw's window title. A "Lose changes?" dialog was added. Global/local palette bugs were fixed. A transparent color bug was fixed in GIFReader.


Release Notes: Images can now be saved as JPEGs. The output quality is configurable. A bug with transparent colours in 32-bit icons has been fixed. WebStart links on the project's homepage should finally work.


Release Notes: True colour icons with alpha channel (32 bit) are now supported. The Font Dialog is no longer modal, so that users can change the foreground and background colours while choosing a font. Users can now configure which look and feel is used.


Release Notes: This release can be started with a file argument to open a picture at startup. JDraw now supports Java Web Start and can be launched from the project's homepage at SourceForge. Some minor bugs were fixed.


Release Notes: The outline of text can now be drawn. A nasty bug was fixed that made the colour reduction and compress functions crash occasionally. Antialiasing can be toggled again when drawing lines. The filebrowser's preview in the JDK 1.4 version is updated correctly now.


Release Notes: This version can now handle true colour icons, and Windows users no longer have to worry about blanks in the installation path.


Release Notes: This is the first stable release of JDraw. If Ctrl-click is used when filling, colors will be replaced in the complete frame. Text antialiasing has been improved, and now considers the text's background correctly.


Release Notes: Colour removal and filling have been reimplemented and should be stable now. The transparent colour of GIF images is recognized correctly again. The filling tool has been enhanced and now considers tolerance values while replacing colours. An image browser that searches a given directory recursively for image files has been added. This tool is especially meant for those of you who are working with the JDK 1.3 version, because their file browser doesn't show previews.


Release Notes: Floating clips can now be flipped and rotated by 90 degrees. Another feature makes use of Java's class javax.swing.GrayFilter and lets you grayscale a frame.


Release Notes: A feature for rotating frames was added. New keyboard shortcuts were added. Color reduction was reimplemented, and is now pretty quick. A compress bug was fixed. A bug that concerned saving .ico files was fixed. A browser preview bug (which only occurred with JDK 1.4) was fixed.
