Projects / jChatBox

jChatBox is a JSP chat application. Moderator users can open and control multiple chatrooms, manage users (list, ban, kick), manage blacklists, generate transcripts, backup files, and apply chatroom parameters such as max users, filters, etc. Users can run commands like /help, /time, /kick, etc. Chatrooms are easily customizable through skins, and can be extended by designers or programmers through the jChatBox API. An plugin section is available with tools like a smiley filter, database authentication, a Chinese translation, LDAP authentication, and a Flash 5 client.
