Release Notes: This version fixed a leak of the authenticated JAAS Subject back to the Tomcat thread pool. The Subject associated with the thread was not being cleared, but the the principal and credentials were. Although this did not affect authentication or authorization, it could cause a previously authenticated Subject to be seen in an unauthenticated context. Applications associating sensitive information with the Subject or basing security decisions on the Subject via custom integration with JBoss could have been affected by this leak.


Release Notes: This is a developer's (alpha) release. New features include EJB 2.1 support, JCA 1.5 support, JMS 1.1 support, JMX 1.2 support, JSP/Servlet 2.4 support, an initial JACC implementation, improved Web services and IIOP support, and an updated JBossAOP version.

Release Notes: The distributed cache has been backported from 4.0 branch to 3.2 branch (the non-AOP version), JGroups has been updated to version 2.2.1, there are several CMP bugfixes and performance enhancements, the default Web container was updated to Tomcat 5.0.19, there are several JMS bugfixes, JMX was updated to version 1.2, and there is improved monitoring and graphing in the Web console.
