    Release Notes: A simple database (JDBC) backend was added. Other new features include ACLs which are mostly compliant with current IETF Internet Draft, simple authentication, performance improvements, and numerous other changes.

        Apparently, the author has started a company writing a commercial LDAP server, and the sourceforge version is now looking for another owner.
