jamod is an object oriented Modbus protocol implementation done completely in Java. It can be used to implement Modbus/TCP masters and slaves, as well as Modbus (serial) masters and slaves. Deployment on TINI is possible.

Release Notes: Modbus/UDP and Modbus/RTU (master only) implementations were added along with support for RS485 Echo, a missing standard function (write multiple coils), and facade pattern TCP and UDP masters. BitVector was updated to allow LSB indexing, and all I/O operations were redesigned to achieve low resource requirements and more throughput.
Release Notes: Bug #610142 "ReadMultipleRegistersResponse Index" (and duplicate #616218) have been fixed. Problems reported as Bug #625113, "several bugs with fixes", have been fixed. A lot of documentation has been updated and added, including How-Tos.
