Release Notes: A link is now stored with downloaded lyrics, allowing you to correct any mistakes. You can now find lyrics for songs with apostrophes in the title. Retrieve Acoustic Id's stopping before completion has been fixed. Local Correct Album uses the capitalization preference of the artist. Songs no longer sorted by filename has been fixed. Artwork not being retrieved by Discogs has been fixed.
Release Notes: This release supports Export/Import. The Export action is simple and effective. It allows you to export the details of your loaded songs so that you can also open and edit values within a proper spreadsheet application and then import the changes back into Jaikoz. You can also use it as a backup of your metadata. There are many other bugfixes.
Release Notes: The .m4b (Audio Book) format is now supported. When updating images from Discogs, the primary image should always be favored over the secondary image. When updating Musicbrainz and receiving a 503 error, Jaikoz does not request that queries are not cached, so a customer's Internet connection could just return a cached query when a retry is attempted. An error updating iTunes was fixed.
Release Notes: You can now load all the files within in a Winamp (.m3u) playlist using Open Playlist and Add Playlist, with more playlist formats to be added in future releases. There is an Open Recent list for recently opened playlists, files, and folders. Support has been added for dragging and dropping and copy/pasting images from other applications such as iTunes, Finder, and Windows Explorer.
Release Notes: This release has full support for Windows Media Audio. The MusicIP Genpuid software has been upgraded to 1.4. A number of bugfixes have been made.
Release Notes: Artwork auto-formatting for Musicbrainz and Discogs now supports an option to only populate if new artwork is of a higher resolution, ensuring that artwork is only overwritten if a higher resolution image can be found. Also, an option was added to only overwrite if the existing value is empty or on the genre blacklist, allowing genres to be overwritten if they have a blacklisted genre. An option was added to change the base folder for a set of folders using a file dialog. Various bugs were fixed.
Release Notes: This release adds a Save and Copy Option that allows you to save changes to songs and copy them to a different folder. It has an improved matching algorithm for tracks with no title or a default title (such as Track1, Track2, etc.). Now when you reorder or resize columns, the changes are automatically preserved for when Jaikoz is restarted.
Release Notes: Updating tags from Discogs is now supported. Updating tags from Musicbrainz can now work just from Release Ids. There are many improvements to Manual Tag from Musicbrainz.
Release Notes: This release fixes an issue that was preventing Tag From Musicbrainz from working correctly.
Release Notes: The preferred musicbrainz country is now set for releases based on the locale of the computer. When track matches multiple releases identically, the release whose its total number of tracks matches the total number of tracks loaded into Jaikoz with the same release name is picked. A check is done to ensure that outgoing access to port 10001 is open and a warning is given if it isn't. This is required for Retrieve Acoustic Ids to work optimally.
