Jahshaka is an audio and video editing and effects system. It uses OpenGL and OpenML to provide real-time functionality. Linux, OS X, and Windows are currently supported.

Release Notes: This release features a powerful media desktop with enhanced UI support, a powerful non-linear editor for Linux, fully revamped animation with real time 2D and 3D GPU effects, fully revamped effects modules with initial node based compositing, powerful 3D model support, an integrated GPU accelerated keyer, revamped GPU color corrector, Web based asset browsing, video paint, XML project files, private file sharing over the Internet, RPM LSB installers, and a totally new, developer friendly code-base architecture. The Visual Media 'openlibraries' are now used.
Release Notes: This release focuses on cleaning up the core and development of the effects module. One of the main new features in this release is a new unified core technology. Jahshaka is now gpu and gpgpu capable and includes the first suite of Plugins, RasFX. A lot of other features were added, including unlimited layers, optional regular menus, blurs, a hardware renderer, AVI support and encoding on Windows, a keyframe editor, editable numeric fields, a calculator, multi-layer selections, and an export option for the desktop that will export clips to any location.
