I hope we'll finally see more *components* on Unix,
so people don't have to write a gazillion bindings for
a library, but we have componentized it once with,
for example, XPCOM and everybody can use it.
Provided their language supports XPCOM.
These things are oh so much easier on Windows. I
don't want to see Unix stuck with the technologies of
the 80s (C libraries) any longer.
