Release Notes: This release fixes the setup program for Tomcat 5.0.x. Only upgrade if you're having difficulties installing on that platform.
Release Notes: This release makes ivata groupware easier to install, especially on MS Windows. There is a new Web-based setup program which appears when the program is started for the first time. A Hypersonic SQL database can automatically be installed on the user's hard drive, by just clicking from this setup window, and the mail domain is read from hMailServer via COM directly. Schema and data scripts were added for DB2, Hypersonic, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SAP DB, MS SQL Server, and Sybase. There are also 2 new themes, and the user can choose a theme when logging into the site.
Release Notes: This release completes the restructuring around a POJO model, using Hibernate as a persistence layer (which we started last summer). The code base has been split up, so more code can be re-used in later projects, and application of the ivata masks framework to further simplify the code has begun. This is the first release to support Windows "out of the box", using the excellent hMailServer as the email back-end. There's a new install program, and much of the code has been streamlined to use CSS rather than having presentation information directly in the HTML.
