Release Notes: Major changes were made with respect to verification and validation of digital signatures, more specifically for PAdES 4 (LTV) documents. Initial preparations were made for high-level support for Tagged PDF.
Release Notes: This version solves a major bug introduced in iText 2.1.5: some tagged PDF examples were broken, and in specific cases form fields weren't filled out. The code causing these bugs has been removed. Many smaller bugs have been fixed. There's also some new functionality: PdfPTable finally supports rowspan. Timestamping and OCSP are now possible with iText. There are several new methods, for instance: to skip the last footer in a PdfPTable, to set the initial leading (which is zero by default), and so on.
