ircproxy

ircproxy is an Internet Relay Chat Proxy, which works as a layer between your IRC client and the IRC server. It features bouncer capability and has more features, flexibility, and configuration options than other tools. It also includes an option to use the system password list instead of requiring a separate password database.

      Release Notes: A channel logging feature was added. Some minor bugs were fixed.

        Release Notes: SSL and IPv6 support. New configuration file formats. New connection features. CHANCYCLE will channel cycle when there is no OP. Use NICKSERVNUH/NICKSERVPASS to automatically send IDENTIFY command to NickServ on networks with NickServ. There is a new autoOP feature.

          Release Notes: The licence was change to the GPL. Who replies are traced and sent to the correct clients, so they are silent for the other clients. The "make config" paths will now be based on "./configure --prefix". A pkg-install bug that changed permissions on /etc/crontab was fixed. pkg-deinstall was fixed not to "rm -R" the entire installation directories.

            Release Notes: Connecting to servers that require password and problems with SunOS equal to or older than 5.7 have been fixed.
