Release Notes: This release has been made with a 20011212 tarball from CVS. UDP/TCP support has been added. Verbose mode has been changed; an update line is now dropped for every forward added. It should be a lot more clear than before with some cosmetic changes. Redundant displaying has been removed. Usage of an alternate config file has been fixed. Now "iptoip file.xml" can be used instead of "iptoip ./file.xml". The manual/doc pages have been updated.
Release Notes: This is the first release from the stable branch. The awful text displayed in syslog messages has been removed. There are some simple man pages. The unused total tag has been removed from the config file.
Release Notes: Multiple configuration now works. Use $j variable to receive conf number, and to repeat ipvsadm update against several conf. Fixed usage of --file by moving "my $xmlconf = XMLin($xmlarg);" after "GetOptions" section.
Release Notes: Usage of the "total" tag in iptoip.xml is now deprecated. The program now detects how much conf we have, and it checks if tags are opened and closed. The code for the update subroutine was reorganized.
Release Notes: The "weight" function (when using only one configuration) and usage of inline options have been fixed. More documentation has been written.
Release Notes: This release includes a "weight" function for the scheduling methods to be able to easily define the servers capacity, a fix for displaying the scheduler type in comments(), cleaner transmission of parameters in update_ipvs(), and more documentation.
Release Notes: Load balancing is usable with iptoip; the differents forms of scheduling are available in the configuration file and can be different for every configuration the user has defined.
Release Notes: Fix the update order of the ipvsadm table which prevents adding a destination and remove it in the same time. Fix usage of several configurations. Added initscript (thx P.Libat from MandrakeSoft for feedback).
Release Notes: A new XML configuration file that makes it possible and easy to update forwarding of several ports to many local boxes (needs the XML-Simple Perl module).
