    Release Notes: A nasty /dev/ptmx permission bug when running as root was fixed. A few features useful for when running as root were added, including changing UID and GID, chroot, and setting specific permissions on the pty.

      Release Notes: In this release, more portable pseudo-TTY code now allows interceptty to run on newer Linux kernels, OpenBSD, and Solaris, and will make it easier to port to other platforms.

        Release Notes: This version adds several new types of backends and frontends. New backends include a network client, Unix socket client, the input and output of a program, or directly using file descriptors prepared by a cooperating program. New frontends include a network server, Unix socket server, or directly using file descriptors prepared by a cooperating program. The Unix socket server is compatible with newer versions of VMware.
