Instant OGo is a Linux-based groupware server distribution. It contains all components required to set up a mail and collaboration server from scratch, including the Linux system software, the Cyrus mail server, and the OpenGroupware.org groupware server.

Release Notes: A major new feature of this release is an integrated software utility to retrieve email from remote POP3 or IMAP mail servers to local user mailboxes. To improve email security, extended SMTP SASL options are supported. There are a number of miscellaneous bugfixes and small enhancements. For your convenience the package now includes a trial version of the ZideLook Outlook connector.


Release Notes: This is a major upgrade of the Instant OGo ASE business server. It features an easy-to-use Samba service that sets up a well integrated central document store. The Linux distribution is based on CentOS 5 now. Numerous improvements and bugfixes were made to both the email and the calendar module for extended functionality and even better usability. Several enhancements and fixes ensure highly improved compatibility with Sunbird's new CalDAV support.


Release Notes: This release features an easy-to-use integrated LDAP directory server that sets up a central email address and phone book serving public records stored in OpenGroupware's contact database. The admin module now gets authorization via a new token based auth method. A couple of improvements and bugfixes were made to the calendar module. The XML- RPC server was enhanced with a few methods. Dial URLs are properly escaped.


Release Notes: This release updates the groupware module to take advantage of OGo's highly improved WebDAV support. A packaging issue that prevented vacation messages was fixed.


Release Notes: Numerous improvements and innovations were added for extended functionality and even more usability. The groupware server now includes team creation for arbitrary users. It allows attendee roles to be declared for events and supports extended attributes for appointments. A clipboard link-editor allows the linking of almost any groupware information. The server status of all services is clearly indicated now on the configuration database's main page. The admin module now allows SASL authentication for the email relayhost.
