Release Notes: The entire preprocessor model can now be saved in the .in file. It is possible to script drive the geometry and FE model by manually editing the .in file and then reading it into the preprocessor. A bug was fixed in the post-processor where Gradient Result is now visible in the OpenGL accelerated version.
Release Notes: This release finally allows groups to be usable in the preprocessor. There is also a bugfix for the NASTRAN file import filter.
Release Notes: Several new file parsers have been added to the preprocessor. The UNV format allows interfacing with the Salome mesh generator. The BDF and NASTRAN file formats are simpler, faster, and more robust than the previous implementation. The GMSH reader now works with the version 2 format and does not require any preparation of the mesh. Finally, a group feature has been added but is not complete.
Release Notes: This release fixes bugs in the HTML documentation. Preprocessor now imports all elements from a GMSH .msh file, and has faster export of .in files (a few minutes versus an hour). PostProcessor remembers the last directory used. Solver checks for NIP used in Solid_iso_4 element and calculates the correct mass calculation of tetrahedron Solid_iso_4 and Solid_iso_6 elements. The find and replace feature in the editor is improved, but not complete. The Optimizer GUI values now control the optimiser, which has a corrected output when using Solid_iso_4 elements.

Release Notes: The solver is now more than 1000% faster during initialization of node sorting and 25% faster during the solution process. On the GUI side, axis is now present also in OpenGL view, always positioned on rotation center. Selected filenames are shown in the window header, and Impact remembers the directory from the most recent session. For the preprocessor, a spline curve now fits properly to points (if this option is selected) and has an improved nodal distribution.
Release Notes: Starting/stopping solutions from the GUI should work much better. The optimizing features are now back in the GUI, but on a separate tab. Vastly improved error handling. Tooltips for some buttons have been corrected. The use of ClusterGUI has been depreciated due to issues with JavaParty on Windows. For computers with several cores or CPUs, the SMP model now works again. The priority of the solver has been reduced to make the GUI run better when a solution is in progress. The "Zoom All" button now works correctly and the selection model has been improved.
Release Notes: Impact now supports hardware graphics acceleration through OpenGL. The documentation has been updated. The optimizing part of the solver has been temporarily disabled.
