iLabs mobile toolbox is a set of libraries and demo applications for Java ME. It includes libraries for XMPP, feed reading, and highly functional and fast, but limited, rendering of HTML with some CSS. The OpenMiniBrowser demo application shows some of the potential of the HTML renderer. It is intended to be embedded in other applications, but may also be used as a standalone browser. The toolbox also includes "the Widger": a HTML and XML based application that allows much of the application logic to reside on a server, while the user interface is a true Java ME application and not just Web pages.

Release Notes: Added substantial new functionality such as GPS support, SCC parsing in the HTML renderer, plugin architecture in the browser and more. Also added since 0.50b: the Widger application framework that opens for extensive server side application logic (without Java Script). This makes it much easier to write Java ME applications.
Release Notes: Errors have been removed and the architecture enhanced. There is better error handling. Documentation has been added and enhanced. Several working applications are included, which can also function as examples. This release has been extensively tested for various phones and works on CLDC 1.0. The Sony Ericsson JP-5, 6, 7, and 8 and the Nokia S40, S60, and HTC have been tested. Known issues include a problem where on the Nokia S60 CLDC 1,0 (Nokia 6600) the MarkupReader class skips characters for unknown reasons. HTC on some devices has no support for the JavaME multimedia API and hence no support for the camera.
Release Notes: This is the first beta release. Some documentation is in place. Demo applications are included.
Release Notes: This is a preliminary release which contains mostly working binaries, but for the most part is being used for testing and tuning the release process itself.
