Release Notes: Minor fixes include information presented by faxwatch, less-used hfaxd JPARM options, ModemFmt hfaxd display, color fax sending, dialrules matching, AUTOROTATE feature, debugging cleanups, programming cleanups, MIME encoding, a potential faxq crash, and the TimeOfDay function. Support for modems with LSI chipsets, hfaxd firewall friendliness, and support for MT9234ZBA modems was improved. Additional features include a "Proxy" feature through JobControl, duration and conntime details in sendq files, a faxalter -N option, recursive dialrules matching, and Russian and Ukranian dictionary translations.


Release Notes: A stripbytecount problem in libtiff 4.0 support was fixed. The -dEPSFitPage, -dPDFFitPage, and -dFIXEDMEDIA options are used by default. The faxmail FirstAlternativeOnly configuration option was added and only the first alternative part is used by default. Support was added for UTF-8 in textfmt and faxmail. hasV34Trouble is detected for Class 1.0 DLE+EOT dial responses. Scheduler throttle was fixed. auto-rotate.ps is enabled by default with the AUTOROTATE FaxModify feature. The program now waits for OK at the end of a Class 1.0 V.34 disconnection. The color page buffer size was expanded to 2MB. auto-rotate.ps was improved to match most page sizes.


Release Notes: The faxadduser -c option was added. hasV34Trouble is detected for Class 1.0 "OK" dial responses. Building for gcc-4.5 was fixed. The system regex library is used by default instead. In faxmail's PDF MIMEConverter, non-letter images are scaled onto letter pages instead of cutting off parts of them. In Class 1 sending ECM after CTC/CTR, the dataTimeout is adjusted to the new bitrate. The Class1ECMCheckFrameLength configuration option was added. The faxmail quoted-printable boundary check was improved. -dMaxStripSize=0 is used with Ghostscript calls.


Release Notes: Minor updates in order to cope with problems in Ghostscript 8.71.


Release Notes: Color fax support was added. CPU usage of large job submissions on systems with many modems was reduced. Some minor bugs were fixed. Improvements were made to image decoding. Proper support for new versions of Ghostscript was provided. A Flemish dictionary translation was included.


Release Notes: A config option (usually -O) was added to the clients. The -c option was added for hfaxd and faxq. Jobs are properly unblocked when job preparation fails. PostscriptTimeout format failures were made visible. The auto-rotate.ps utility script was added. The dialrules-pabx.be sample was added. The "bindaddressfamily" option was added to hfaxd and defaults to IPv4. Ghostscript 8.64 font aliases are supported. Echo of PPS when sending is handled. Detection of disabled Mac OS X (Darwin) realtime scheduling was improved. IPv6 support was added.


Release Notes: Cases where the modem may "ignore" an ATA from HylaFAX are now handled better. A problem involving JBIG attempts using non-JBIG Class 2.0 modems was fixed. The --disable-ldap and --disable-jbig options for configure were added. A divide-by-zero error in additional logging from 5.2.8 is avoided.


Release Notes: DSO is supported on SCO. Handling of CRP in non-ECM receive was fixed. Log enhancements were made. A failure is thrown if there is a TIFF write error. dataTimeout is initialized. Dialtest and typetest are removed in "make uninstall". The "-q spool" option was added for faxcron. JobProtection is on by default. faxq is now prevented from reusing old prepared image files from other jobs. Faxstate "DOWN" persists through a faxq modem release. Collisions are avoided in hash code. The hfaxd -D sleep option was added. IgnoreModemBusy and AllowIgnoreModemBusy were added.


Release Notes: This release improves faxq's FIFO parsing resiliancy. It invokes SetupPrivateTmp from notify, faxrcvd, and pollrcvd.


Release Notes: A timeout in sendClass1Data-putModemData was fixed. $PCL6CMD was fixed in the pcl2fax script. Control frame receipt is handled in Class 1 V.34-Fax sending when switching to primary channel. Building on SCO 6.0.0 was fixed.
