All releases of Hv3 Web Browser

Release Notes: This release fixes many of the long-standing performance problems in Hv3. It also adds support for wrapping CJK text and a brand new bookmarks manager that integrates full-text search.

Release Notes: Changes include adding ECMAScript (Javascript) support, a bookmarks manager, limited support for XHTML constructions, support for more encoding names, and more or less correct wrapping of Chinese/Japanese/Korean text. There are many improvements and bugfixes to the core HTML/CSS rendering support, and more.

Release Notes: This release fixes some problems with copying text from or searching for strings within documents containing non-ASCII characters. Support for selecting text by the word has been added and HTTP "Location" headers are now supported. Right-clicking on the document now produces a context sensitive menu. <table> parsing has been standardized to include <tbody> and co. and <iframe> elements are now supported. There were also minor bugfixes and optimizations to layout and document parsing.

Release Notes: The main change for this release is that Hv3 is now distributed as a single executable, not multiple files. It also fixes many things, including the appearance of <SELECT> elements, HTTP "Refresh" and "Location" headers, the "white-space" property, various properties applied to the <BODY> and <HTML> elements, and some resource leaks. Some CPU-time based optimizations were made.

Release Notes: Many changes were made to the user interface and rendering engine.

Release Notes: This release contains virtually the same rendering engine as alpha-10, but the browser interface and functionality are greatly improved. Specifically, this release adds auto-completion to the location entry field, speeds up and corrects bugs with the back/ forward buttons, and adds a consolidated GUI for downloading files. Also, the pull-down menus have been reorganized and short cut keys have been added.

Release Notes: This release features major improvements to Tkhtml3, both in terms of standards compatibility and speed. Integration between CSS and form controls is also greatly improved. This is the first version of hv3 to completely pass the ACID 2 test.

Release Notes: As well as the usual rendering improvements, this release features improved support for HTML forms, a find-as-you-type feature, and integration with popular search engines. There is also a switch to turn off image support and some support for HTTPS if OpenSSH is available (via the tls package).

Release Notes: The focus of this release is increased correctness in rendering HTML pages.

Release Notes: This release contains many enhancements and bugfixes to the core rendering engine, Tkhtml3. An "open in bg tab" menu option has been added to hv3.
