I don't think it is the wrong place for this and I'd
like to explain why:
1. "Humanity" is distributed under the Open
Content License, and is thus "open art" or "free
art". There have been numerous other instances of
such things here like fortune collections, or images
collections, etc.
2. "Humanity" aims to be a collaborative project,
where more than one person will collaborate on the
same script. While it is not a software project, it is
still a project nonetheless.
3. Humanity can be viewed and read just fine on
Linux.

Actually, the "cathedral" is an altar with a
priest...;-)
But it is being refered to as a cathedral in the
scene's title.
