Release Notes: This release introduces a new, more robust low-level driver with support for both USB and parallel port connections, and adds a command-line scanning application for several models not yet supported by SANE. It also enhances the support for JetDirect-connected peripherals, updates the xojpanel LCD application with the ability to co-exist better with other applications or copies of itself, and features an improved installation process and documentation.

Release Notes: This release adds bugfixes in the low-level drivers to address scanning lockups, module unloading problems, and compatibility with SMP and 2.4 kernels. It introduces an easier method to set up printing and updates the xojpanel application, which displays the contents of the LCD panel.
