All releases of HL7 Comm

Release Notes: This version includes a number of updates from its underlying protocol libraries. New clients include FTP support as well as improvements for file clients and refinements in HL7 handling. Job scheduling now includes cron-like support. Importing custom libraries is better supported using the configuration files instead of having to work with the Java classpath.

Release Notes: This version contains some bugfixes and improvements to the HL7 and communication client libraries. Considerable work went into solidifying the underlying thread management for this release as well enhancing stability, especially when the software is repeatedly started and stopped.

Release Notes: A bug with the logging mechanism in the 0.8 series has been corrected. A new InboundTrigger mechanism has been added to support applications that may wish to poll other services without a normal triggering event.

Release Notes: The beanshell support for scripting within HL7 Comm has been greatly polished. New examples include database connectivity and new initialization functionality in the scripts.

Release Notes: This version includes a new beanshell based mapping engine, a much improved configuration interface, and general improvements and bugfixes all around.

Release Notes: This release represents a major redesign of the processing core. All clients are pluggable and processing logic can be performed. A fair amount of work went into improving the GUI as well. Java version 2, 1.5 or better is required for the 0.7 series.

Release Notes: Logging and log levels have been added to the batch sending mode. These can be specified at the command line. Additional documentation has been added explaining the new features.

Release Notes: This release contains updates to file handling that will make several attempts at moving files and halt operation should they all fail. There is also an update that hopefully fixes a very rare disconnection bug.

Release Notes: This is the first production-ready release of HL7 Comm. Its only feature enhancement is that the simple client configurations now have a memory.

Release Notes: Many bugfixes and improvements were added. Most importantly, file handling when in receive mode is much improved. There is a good deal more documentation, and logging has been completely rewritten for this release. You can select what level to set logging to when you configure the application.
