h-inventory

h-inventory provides Web-based hardware and software inventory management for Windows, Linux, and BSD machines. It permits incident declaration (breakdown) both anonymous and not. h-inventory provides incident and intervention management, user management, network management, incident types management, monitoring services, a network map, a network scan, and deployment of software automatically on workstations.

Release Notes: This release features DB improvements, support for PHP 5, and XHTML 1.0 Strict compliance.

Release Notes: PDF documents can be generated to provide a complete report of computers. Conflict management was added. External authentication can be done with LDAP, IMAP, or other means. Extra fields and licences can be managed. Proxy configuration was added. Links can be made between Inventory and Incidents. Location restriction was implemented for users and technicians. Deployment and installation were improved.

Release Notes: This release adds monitoring, a network map, a new design, and installation/upgrade method improvements.

An auditing feature can be used to scan your network with nmap and determine which machines are up, which ports are open, and whether they are in the inventory. Your own incidents states can now be created. An application to deploy your packages was added. Multi-language support was added.
