Release Notes: This release fixes an infinite-loop bug in the document validator and a bug in lexing mixed text and references between quote chars. It also adds support for building with Cabal and installing with ghc-6.4's new package format.

Release Notes: The licence was changed to the LGPL for all the library code and GPL for the standalone tools. The distribution now includes a minimal Build.bat script for Windows, so you can avoid any need for Cygwin utilities and get by with just GHC and Mingw. A few bugs have been fixed, and changes in the signatures of the Xml2Haskell module (made in version 1.09) have now been mirrored in the converse library, Haskell2Xml.

Release Notes: This release works again for Hugs (versions from September 2003 and later). The internal (and external) representations of XML character references are fixed to be correct with the standard. New combinators to 'escape' and 'unescape' reserved XML characters in text and attribute values have been contributed, e.g. to convert "<" into "&<". An important bugfix to DtdToHaskell ensures the correct type conversion for certain deeply nested DTD specs.

Release Notes: This is a bugfix release with a few minor API changes. To build it, ghc-6.0 is now supported, and hmake is no longer essential. A new combinator 'path' has been added to allow queries to be expressed in the style of XPath. Some of the signatures in Text.XML.HaXml.Xml2Haskell have changed. There are bugfixes in the XML parser, in DtdToHaskell, and in the configuration process.

Release Notes: A new function, partialValidate, omits the check for whether the document's root element type matches the DTD's root element. This is useful to validate any partial document or sub-document. The htmlprint function had a small bug which caused it to loop infinitely if some text was longer than 60 characters without a space. The Xtract parser and combinators are now included in the HaXml library package, rather than existing solely for the Xtract command-line tool. HaXml now works nicely with ghc-5.04.x, as well as ghc-5.02.x and nhc98.
