    Release Notes: Notable changes include a system-wide shortcut key for Windows and Linux and the ability to rename Quick Access items. Smaller fixes: disabled plugins are no longer loaded in the background, and the Hawkscope icon is no longer invisible on dark backgrounds. A Donate button was added to the About window.

      Release Notes: This release has native icon themes for supported operating systems, a unified HTTP authentication mechanism for version checks and plugins that use network connection, and protection to prevent plugins from breaking the rest of the Hawkscope menu. The ability to show or hide known file extensions was added. The Mac .app extension is always hidden. Checking for plugin updates was implemented.

        Release Notes: The Open With plugin now saves and loads custom application paths well in Windows and opens files with spaces well on Linux. Various enhancements were made with the Execute and Twitter plugins. The Gmail Checker plugin was added. Keyboard navigation has improved. Opening huge folders is no longer a problem.

          Release Notes: This release has optimized memory consumption and overall performance, has a few miscellaneous Windows improvements, and fixes network settings proxy authentication checkbox behavior. Long menus are no longer split. Menus reload in the background (with at least 3 minutes between reloads). There is a new Execute plugin.

            Release Notes: This release has a plugin system and an "Open With" plugin. It has a temporary workaround for Mac menu bar icon blues, friendlier GUI windows, an interactive error report, and a help window.

              Release Notes: There are separate versions for each operating system. Mac application contents are no longer shown. A Mac OS X Dock Quit problem was fixed.

                Release Notes: This release is compatible with Java 5 and runs on Mac OS X 10.4+. Handling of resources was improved and memory consumption was reduced. The ability to use operating system icons if they are available was added. The Swing GUI implementation is now discontinued and was removed. It is now possible to blacklist folders and drives. A Settings window was added. A menu reload delay was added to improve performance.

                  Release Notes: This release adds a -delay (milliseconds) parameter to avoid Java Bug #6438179, which killed Hawkscope auto-startup on Linux. An SWT GUI implementation has been added. Some file opening problems have been fixed. Tray icon ugliness has been solved. Menu usability has been improved. The Hawkscope menu is now always on top.

                    Release Notes: This release adds a quick access list to main menu (configurable via .hawkscope.properties). The "user.home" folder read from system properties is added by default. The About dialog has been improved with an "Environment" field, an icon, and a "Copy to Clipboard" button for copying environmental reports. There are many other changes.

                      Release Notes: Icons were added for "Hide" and "Exit" actions. Various performance and memory consumption optimizations were made. Long menus now are split into parts. Items that are neither files nor folders now have a separate icon and are properly displayed. An "About" menu item was added.
