h3270

h3270 provides access to IBM 3270 hosts from within a web browser. It features a highly configurable layout engine based on regular expressions. Unlike other systems, it is implemented as a server-side Java application, rather than an applet.

    Release Notes: This release introduces a new keyboard handling model and improves error reporting in the user interface.

      Release Notes: This release adds the ability to have multiple h3270 sessions open at the same time, from the same browser. This works in both the servlet version and the portlet version.

        Release Notes: This release adds support for some 3270 extended attributes (colors and highlighting). The generated HTML should now be XHTML-compliant. Several bugs were fixed.

          Release Notes: The most notable feature in this release is the addition of an h3270 portlet that is compliant with the JSR-168 Portlet API. It can be deployed to any compliant portal server, such as Jetspeed-2. The original stand-alone Web application continues to exist as well. Several minor bugfixes and feature enhancements have also been made.

            Release Notes: This maintenance release fixed a few HTML layout issues and updated the documentation. It is now possible to restrict users so that they can only connect to a single host.
