    Release Notes: This is the start of a new stable version series. Compared with the previous stable version, it allows editing of multidata and resources. Graphing, file format support, data processing, tools, and user interface were improved. Lots of its problems were fixed.

      Release Notes: Several bugs were fixed in 3D, file loading and saving, and the user interface. The shader user interface was improved.

        Release Notes: Support for two new file types was added: Pacific Nanotechnology PNI and Nanonis SXM. Many data browser, graph, 3D, module, portability, and other bugs were fixed. More modules work correctly with multidata and were re-enabled. Level3, Level, Shader, and Burleigh have various improvements. The German translation has begun.

          Release Notes: Tools were reworked, with many improvements. In addition to Omicron, Surf, Nanotop, SPML, MetroPro, Burleigh, SDF, RHK, and BCR file import improvements also present in the stable version, import for SEIKO, ECS, an older Hitach AFM format, and Nanoscope 3 and 4 was added. There were improvements in graphs and grain statistics. GTK+ 2.8 is required on Win32 now.

            Release Notes: Several new file formats can now be imported: Omicron Scala, Nanotop, Surf, SPML, binary MetroPro, and Burleigh v2.1. Import of RHK, SDF, and BCR was improved. A couple of crashes on big-endian machines were fixed. The JPK module omitted from Win32 binaries was added. Grain statistics were improved and a few smaller bugs were fixed.

              Release Notes: Support for multiple data in one file was implemented, though not all processing functions and tools can work with it yet. Module feature registration and use has changed. Two new modules were added: merge and immerse. A data browser displays the contents of active files. There are various GUI, module, and library improvements and fixes.

                Release Notes: Compilation on Mac OS X was fixed. A few minor file module problems were fixed. Simple grain statistics and a function resampling data to make samples square were added. The Italian translation was updated.

                  Release Notes: Various unfinished features were finished, namely FFTW integration, color gradient and GL material editors, and data offsets. Modules broken by previoius changes were fixed. New file modules (Hitachi AFM, RHK-SM3, SDF, Unisoku, and WITec) and fixes were merged from the stable branch. GwyDataLine carries units, bitmap export can draw selections, and graphs were improved..

                    Release Notes: Miscellaneous improvements were made. A few modules and features are described less briefly. Others are least mentioned now. Several sections were proof-read. Some information was updated to relflect changes in the application. Visual design is a bit more consistent with gwyddion.net.

                      Release Notes: Import support for several new file formats was added: RHK SM3, WITec, Unisoku, Hitachi AFM, and SDF. Others were improved: MI, EZD, and NID. A couple of 3D view bugs were fixed. A bug which caused moving the mouse over data windows to consume lots of CPU time was fixed. Compiled-in resource paths can be overridden with environment variables.
