Release Notes: A more flexible print subsystem, device independent printer output now allows FrameMaker MIF dumps, X11 color-name parsing to rc files, shift-click ranges in the signal window, use of ItemFactory menu format, auto-window-raise for "persistent" windows such as the signal searches, timescales can now round to the nearest magnitude based on pixel v. time scaling, tree/hierarchy menus now support various presentation options (i.e., hierarchies first or intermixed), a block memory allocation scheme that speeds up VCD file loads, native support for .zip files, integration of GNU regex support for non-Linux systems for consistent, platform-independent behavior, signal search "patterns" such as WRange that allow more flexibility in grepping for signal names in flattened hierarchies, support for 2GB max process sizes for xlc in AIX for viewing very big traces, and many bugfixes.
