Gtkterm is a simple GTK+ terminal used to communicate with a serial port. The port can be set up, and control signals can be toggled. It also supports an hexadecimal view of the data. It is has fewer features than minicom, but is designed to be as easy to use as possible.

    Release Notes: A handful of existing patches and fixes were applied.

    Release Notes: VTxxx commands are now supported using the VTE terminal widget. Some bugfixes were made and support for an auto CR/LF mode was added.

    Release Notes: Gtkterm is now ready for internationalization. The first translation is in French; others are welcome.

    Release Notes: The application could segfault when leaving the serial port config window. This bug has been fixed in this release. The serial port config window also doesn't freeze any more when no serial device is found.

    Release Notes: This release supports macros (keyboard shortcuts to send data on the port). A crash when saving a configuration under certain conditions has been fixed, as well as the behaviour of the main window when receiving SUPPR and \b.
