Release Notes: Bugfixes and minor improvements were made. When changing the mount point, the change is now reflected correctly in the prefs file. 'Copy from iPod' now reports why it failed when operated in Offline mode. 'Copy from iPod' is now called 'Export from Database' and allows files to be copied from the local database as well.
Release Notes: Support for a 'local database' containing tracks of the local file system. Adding tracks to this database allows you to browse the local hard disk by artist, genre, album, etc. Tracks and entire playlists can than be dragged over to the iPod/Shuffle database. Using smart playlists with a defined size in megabytes, the Shuffle can be filled effectively. New export scripts (abook, Thunderbird, and Webcalendar) are included. The entire iTunesDB I/O code has been rewritten to be more easily usable in other projects. The code is completely self-contained (itdb*.[ch]) and can easily be used in other projects.
