gtkpod

gtkpod is a platform independent GUI for Apple's iPod using GTK2. It allows you to import your existing iTunes database, to add songs, podcasts, video, and cover art, and to edit ID3 tags. gtkpod also features international charset support for ID3 tags, detects when adding already existing songs, displays and manages the photo database, and more.

    Release Notes: The preferences dialog was complete redesigned to follow the GNOME HIG guidelines. The search bar now allows you to quickly filter tracks. Lyrics are recognized in MP4 files as well. An automatic thumbnail generator was added.

        Release Notes: Multi-threaded on-the fly conversion of WAV, FLAC, or OGG can be done while copying to the iPod. Album art is displayed. Album art is downloaded. Preliminary support for gapless playback was added. Translations were updated. TV metadata is supported in smart playlists. Numerous bugs were fixed.
