Release Notes: The pointer highlighting parameters were made configurable. A new theme was added, called "5balls-Big" (from the 5ball game).


Release Notes: The graphics behavior was polished and fixed. for example, cell movement now works while a ball is moving or being destroyed. The code was migrated to GtkUIManager. Scores are now saved in the UTF-8 encoding, but old scores will not be lost. A workaround was made for a GTK+ bug in the window resizing code.

Release Notes: Images in themes can now be in any format that gdk-pixbuf understands. The game can be played with the keyboard only (using arrows and space/enter). The cell "under the pointer" is highlighted (for keyboard play). The gtkballs(6x) man page was updated. The death of the score writer process is now handled correctly. Compilation with gcc 3.x was fixed. The code was reorganized. New versions of autoconf, automake, and gettext are used.
