Release Notes: In this version, a plugin architecture is introduced - so several plugins are available as a separate package. Libxklavier can now work with "old" X servers without xfree86.xml module.
Release Notes: A lot of usability improvements.
Release Notes: Secondary layouts are working again. Problems with complex layouts (related to buggy XFree 4.3.0) are properly reported to user.

Release Notes: Support for XFree 4.3.0 with multiple layouts. Loads of bugfixes and updated translations.
Release Notes: There is no longer any keygrabbing in the applet, but low-level XKB configuration code instead. A lot of the code has gone to libxklavier (mainly switchcut-handling code). The applet as a standalone app is back again.
Release Notes: In this version, gettext should now work for 8-bit locales, libxklavier is now used, the applet is now shared library which significantly reduces the memory footprint, a Vietnamese translation was added and the Bulgarian one updated, the spec file was polished a bit, there were some fixes to the help system, and an undocumented feature was introduced.
Release Notes: This version supports GNOME 2.
Release Notes: A lot of UI polishing (to be GNOME HIG-compatible), proper session management (the applet does not have to be in the panel--xkb configuration is loaded at session startup by capplet), proper support for global XKB configuration (from XF86Config), and some changes in libxklavier and xfree86_xkb_xml.
Release Notes: This is probably the last release based on the GNOME 1.x API. xklavier, the GNOME-independant library has been split into a libxklavier module. The XML configuration files from xfree86_xkb_xml are also necessary. A powerful XKB configuration capplet was added, making it easy for X11 users to have their own XKB configurations. The latest GGV 1.1.96 is strongly recommended for the preview tab.
