Release Notes: New feature include contrast and threshold controls; native handling for PNG, JPEG, GIF, and PNM; PDF compression options (JPEG, PNG); a --speed option (for Epson 1200); a ProgressBar for saving PDF; a Portuguese translation; a Danish translation; and a calibration-cache option for Canon LiDE25. The Czech, Dutch, and French translations were updated.
Release Notes: Bug 1709377 ("Unknwn msg: scanimage: unrec'd option --compression=None'") has been fixed. A bug has been fixed where an attempt was made to run gocr after scanning despite it not being installed. The about MessageDialog has been replaced with AboutDialog. The Russian, Czech, and Dutch translations have been updated. Unpaper options have been packed into Gtk2::Notebook to make the dialog shorter, fixing bug 1709379 ("unpaper-0.2 dialog too tall for 1024x768").
Release Notes: unpaper is run sequencially on pages instead of in parallel. Double sided scanning was enabled for the scanadf frontend. More options were added to unpaper. OCR output is embedded in white on white hidden behind the scan. pdftotext can extract the contents, and they can be indexed by Beagle. The Spanish and French translations were updated. The OCR buffer was moved to the main window. Patches were applied to adjust brightness, add negative support for SpinBoxes, and add .tif and .djvu endings if necessary. A bug in adding the .pdf ending was fixed.
Release Notes: A bug in calling help was fixed. An error message caused by update_options sub being called twice was fixed. Image creation was streamlined to increase speed. Widget justification in the scan dialog was adjusted. Rounded messages from the scanadf frontend are now suppressed. The scan area is now remembered. The zoom and rotate buttons are disabled if no page is selected. A bug where the custom scan area was not hidden when A4 or Letter was selected was fixed. The help was updated.
Release Notes: tiff2pdf was replaced with PDF::API2, which fixes a character encoding bug in metadata. The OCR result buffer is now embedded as an annotation in PDF. PDF data can be imported. Modules are now loaded when needed, rather than at start. Any format that imagemagick recognizes can be imported. SpinButtons were added to adjust the top left corner of the scan area. The save options are now inactive when there are no pages to save. An Italian translation was added. The Dutch translation was updated.
Release Notes: A bug where nothing was saved if there was no default for the page range was fixed. PDF, TIFF, and scan compression defaults were separated. Saving in TIFF or DjVu format now respects the enable options toggle. Cancelling on the scan dialog now sends ctrl-C to scanimage. The Czech translation was updated.
Release Notes: Using the top right hand close button to quit now saves the settings properly. PDF options toggling is enabled. A compression scan option has been added. A bug where the hup condition was not recognised under FreeBSD has been fixed. There are updates to the Czech, German, and Russian translations.
Release Notes: The deprecated Gtk2::SimpleList has been changed to Gtk2::Ex::Simple::List. A bug where thumbnails were lost after undo/redo has been fixed. Deleting pages now selects the nearest page. This release adds unpaper --border-align and --border-margin support, compression options for saving TIFFs, and updated scan and PDF icons. unpaper is ghosted if imagemagick is not present.
Release Notes: The Czech translation has been updated, and a Spanish translation added. This release passes image depth to ImageMagick to ensure rotation produces a valid TIFF. DjVu support has been added. A bug has been fixed where device-dependent options disappeared if the frontend changed while the scan dialog was hidden. There is a progress bar while updating device-dependent options. Unpaper support and undo/redo have been added.
Release Notes: OCR support has been added. The scanadf frontend now uses its own device-dependent options. It displays a start-up message if optional packages are missing.
