GriF (Grid Framework)

The COMPCHEM Virtual Organization operating in the EGI Production Grid environment to support the Computational Chemistry applications has been developed and validated a new Collaborative Grid Framework named GriF. Its use as a tool of Science Gateways to facilitate massive Grid calculations also to the end of improving scientific collaboration is presented. Accordingly, GriF paves the way to the study on how to profile the users of Grid virtual organizations in order systematically evaluate the work carried out in Grid and to fostering its sustainability.
