      Release Notes: One can now have different intervals for window, file, and streaming output. Logging can be redirected to a file or syslog. A statistics screen has been added to the streaming Web server. This release includes Cambozola so that Internet Explorer can view the video stream.

        Release Notes: A moving magnifier effect was added. A built-in Web server was added for streaming the input video stream with special effects to Web browsers.

          Release Notes: This release adds new effects: Warhol effect and broken TV effect. It can, in real-time, apply the effects and display the result in a window on your display. RGB-motion did not work; this is now fixed. A '$^'-macro has been added for filenames, which is replaced by the image number.

            Release Notes: This release adds new effects: mapping an image on a sphere, pulling an image into the center, rotating an image, and a vortex effect. New filters: a median filter and a low-pass filter (1 pole). You can now also read palettes from GIF (89a) files.

              Release Notes: Chroma key-color is now configurable. A circles effect, an interlace effect, a color blend effect, a puzzle effect, a color noise effect, and effects for reducing the number of colors have been added. The blocks effect has been made configurable. max_saturation is now set_saturation instead for maximum configurability.

                Release Notes: This release can invert not only on the RGB color model but HLS as well. Wobble effect can be vertical/horizontal. Now multiple effects can be combined in one go (e.g. use -e multiple times). You now can select the color channel(s) to merge for merge_pic.

                  Release Notes: This release adds many new effects: a matrix filter, adding of positional noise, left pixel differencing, creation of a symbolic link to the last created image, sleep time which accepts fractions instead of only integer values, motion detection, execution a script when motion is detected, drawing of a box around detected motion, showing only the pixels which changed since the last check, setting the user/group of the created file, monochromatic conversions, maximization of saturation, inversion of luminance, hue, and saturation, maximum luminance, spot, inverted spot, colorized spot, setting of brightness, and setting of brightness with wrapping.

                    Release Notes: This release writes images to a temporary file first to prevent errors in e.g. Web browsers, and exits with an understandable error message when the device refuses the selected resolution. There are several fixes in color conversions. You can now set owner of image files as they are created, and can now execute a script after a new image is written to disk (to do any post-processing).
