      Release Notes: The -o option was added to output NMEA sentences. Festival (the speech output server) is now initialized for the correct language. The manpage and translations were updated.

        Release Notes: The ability to store and load tracks was added. GpsDrive now autodetects the screen size and fits itself into the screen. Some bugfixes were made. A Dutch translation was added.

          Release Notes: This release has a bugfix in position calculation of big scales. A buffer overflow which was caused by untranslated texts after some time in NMEA mode has been fixed. If no position is found in NMEA mode, track drawing for this part of the route is ommited.

            Release Notes: Ability to choose the download server (mapblast or expedia), correct data file installation (configure --prefix=), RPM installs per default in /usr, a rewritten README, creation of a configuration directory and files if they were not found, and some bugfixes (if Numlock or Shiftlock is on).

              Release Notes: A warning window if there are wrong filenames in map_koord.txt, a radar bugfix, a new man page, an updated Spanish translation, and a bugfix if you use GCC 3.0 as a C++ compiler.

                Release Notes: This release has a minimap for map overview, improved radar detection, a help menu, an -x parameter for a separate menu window, tracking, autodetection of NMEA or GARMIN mode, and a choice of map type between street and topographical maps. An "Import Assistent" has been added, which allows you to import and calibrate your own maps. The layout has been changed to get more space for buttons. The Dansk translation has been updated. This release also works with gpsd from Remco Treffkorn using port 2947. The -s, -g, and -f command line options have been removed.

                  Release Notes: New German speech texts, a fix in radar detection, cosmetic changes for markers, better fallbacks for fonts, checking for way.txt format errors,fixes for compile problems if you not have libintl, the French translation is in French, and a new Dansk translation.

                    Release Notes: gpsdrive previously did not work if the color depth was set to anything other than 16-bit. Radar warning was added. If you store the radar position as waypoints named R-XXXX (where XXXX is an integer), then gpsdrive produces radar warnings in the form of voice messages, and it displays a red/black blinking Bearing pointer.

                      Release Notes: Ability to zoom and select maps for free selectable regions with a left-mouse click independent of your current position (see README section 'Mouse control'), improved speech output, removal of flickering, showing waypoints on the map, and a fix for a map selection bug in the iPaq version.
