    Release Notes: This release remembers the last position if "setdefaultpos" is set to 0 in "~/.gpsdrive/gpsdriverc". At program start, a dialog asks to start gpsd if no GPS was found. A better background for waypoint text has been added, and this text has now a bold font.

      Release Notes: This release adds the ability to define routes using existing waypoints. The next waypoint on the route is automagically selected if the waypoint is reached.

        Release Notes: GpsDrive now stores settings. A parameter (-w) for switching shadows for all drawn elements on the map is now available. A new parameter (-1) for touchpads was added.

          Release Notes: The ability to set a position on the minimap with a left mouse click has been added. Viewable satellites with 0db signal are shown as a short red bar. A shortcut "x" to set a waypoint at the current position has been added. There is a bugfix for loading tracks. The default download server is now Expedia.

            Release Notes: This release adds the ability to set a waypoint at the current position using CTRL-right mouse click. The "select waypoint" window is now auto-updated and shows every 5 seconds the true distance to the waypoints. This release adds -ffast-math because of better division by zero handling in the code.

              Release Notes: This version adds the ability to set a waypoint by CTRL-left-mouse-click. Gpsdrive now also rereads the waypoint file way.txt if it is changed by another program.

                Release Notes: The Expedia and Mapblast mapservers have changed their URLs. Gpsdrive map download only works with this version.

                  Release Notes: There is now a mailing list. A bugfix for friends mode has been applied. The -x option also separates the status fields from the map. There are now 3 windows in this mode.

                    Release Notes: In friends mode, you can select your friends from the waypoint list. In this case, the position of the target is dynamically updated. In the text near the friends-position icon, you see also the days of the week, together with the time of the last transmition. If you have an Internet connection, connect gpsdrive in simulation mode to linux.quant-x.at (i.e. gpsdrive -n Fred -f linux.quant-x.at), and make a truck race with other GpsDrive users.
