      Release Notes: Linux PDAs (iPAQ, Gmate Yopy) are fully supported and binaries are provided. Battery display now supports ACPI (old and new versions). A compass was added, and the bearing pointer was changed. More scripts were added for multiple maps and route fetching. Battery display also works on FreeBSD.

          Release Notes: This release adds a night mode, the display of latitude and longitude is now switchable between degrees/minutes/seconds and decimal form, and there have been some bugfixes.

            Release Notes: This release adds display of the satellite position. Click on the satellite level area to add a description to the waypoints in a separate file. This description will be spoken by the speech system, and also written on the map window with scrolling text. A Hungarian translation and French README have been added.

              Release Notes: A button to delete waypoints has been added. Miles distance on startup in miles mode has been fixed. There are new sat level display colors. Map coverage display in the download window has been added.

                Release Notes: Getting good maps for the USA from the expedia server now works. The distance calculation was made much more precise by using WGS84 elipsoid. A Turkish translation was added. The ability to display the number of satellites was added.

                    Release Notes: This release adds -b and -c parameters, improves the setup menu, coordinates in the "Add waypoint" window (x-key), a display of altitude if supported by GPS device and altitude in stored tracks, a new gpsd that also supports differential GPS over IP, DGPS displaying, and displaying of EPE (estimated position error). It changes "position mode" behavior, and gpsdrive can now be compiled without GARMIN-protocol support to get smaller and faster code.

                      Release Notes: You can select your "way*.txt" file in the setup menu. The DEFAULT entry in way.txt is now obsolete. The "setdefaultpos" entry in gpsdricerc is now obsolete. A battery meter which shows battery capacity and battery/plugged mode has been added (only shown on notebooks). The command line parameter: -w has been removed. The command line parameter -a has been added; use it if gpsdrive crashes (this happens on broken APM BIOSes). The popup to start GPSD has been changed to a button. The unit "nautical miles" has been added. Buttons have been moved to the setup menu, which has new options. The man pages have been updated.
