GNAT Programming System

GPS is a free software multi-platform and multi-language integrated development environment (IDE). It provides a wide range of tools integrated together, and features particularly powerful source navigation capabilities. GPS also integrates GVD, the GNU Visual Debugger, and replaces it.

Release Notes: New customization capabilities, improvements in the entity browser for C/C++, and clickable CVS annotations. Browsers can be exported as PNG images. Compilation output is highlighted in different colors. Support for switches is now defined through XML files. There is support for preprocessor options in syntax checking, improved MDI, the ability to reformat more constructs, navigation to the next/previous subprogram and start/end of statement, a new casing mode "Smart Mixed", and various bugfixes.
