gPodder

gPodder is a Podcast receiver/catcher written in Python and pyGTK. It manages podcast feeds for you, and automatically downloads all podcasts from as many feeds as you like. If you are interested in Podcast feeds, simply put the feed URLs into gPodder and it will download all episodes for you automatically. If there is a new episode, it will get it for you. It supports download resume, if the server supports it.

    Release Notes: Various improvements to the QML UI (for MeeGo 1.2 Harmattan on the Nokia N9) and the text mode interface (CLI) with new features such as gpodder.net searching from the command line, a play queue for the QML UI, and episode list filtering.

      Release Notes: This release adds support for subscribing to Vimeo feeds. It improves various aspects of the Nokia N9 Harmattan UI and adds support for the included cable headset's button. There are various bugfixes and improvements to the common prefix elimination code for episode titles.

        Release Notes: This is a bugfix release, updating translations and fixing a bug with the ordering of YouTube episodes. Other improvements include some refinements to the QML UI for mobile devices, like the N9 running Harmattan.

          Release Notes: This is the first bugfix release in the 3.x series, and includes several improvements to the Windows Launcher and add-on modules as well as some critical bugfixes which prevented gPodder from starting on MeeGo Harmattan.

            Release Notes: There is a new upstream release with support for MeeGo 1.2 Harmattan, a brand new QML UI in addition to the existing GTK UI, support for Episode Query Language to filter down episode lists, and a new on-disk single-folder data structure, allowing easy backups of the podcast database and downloads.
