GNOME Photo Collector

GNOME Photo Collector is a tool used to classify and visualize images. Images are stored on disk in a common way, but references, descriptions and keywords can be stored in a PostgreSQL database to enable easy queries.

    Release Notes: Thumbnails, on-disk storage, updated documentation, a Spanish translation, minor enhancements, and bugfixes were added.

      Release Notes: Added printing support of films, indexes, and single images. Printing support is provided through gnome-print library (version >= 0.25, only provided with GNOME-1.4). Modified the thumbnail creation function to avoid extra memory use.

          Release Notes: The package has been renamed from "gpc" to "gphotocoll" to avoid conflicts with the "GNU Pascal Compiler". This release features a few bugfixes, teh ability to add a single image instead of a complete directory into the database, support for image exact localization (latitude, longitude, elevation, ...), and new binary packages for Linux and FreeBSD.
