GNU Gadu

GNU Gadu 2 is a modular instant messaging client with a GUI written in GTK2. It currently supports Gadu-Gadu,, and Jabber. It is able to load Perl scripts, dock in several window managers, play sounds, talk to other programs via a UNIX socket, send SMS messages to Polish GSM operators, automatically check for updates, and use XOSD for displaying notices.

    Release Notes: A segfault in send_ERA was fixed. An autoconnect crash was fixed. Building with a new version of autotools was fixed. A fix was made for links in a chat window.

      Release Notes: The GtkIMHtml widget was updated. A segfault bug in sound-external that occurred if an error message was shown was fixed. The Debian package was updated and now works with Ubuntu. Importing of the user list from the server was fixed. Malformed entries are now skipped. Status message detection was fixed. GCC 2.9.5 compatibility was fixed. Sending of SMS to Orange was fixed. The Polish translation was updated.

        Release Notes: The internal libgadu now works with gnutls instead of the openssl library. A crash while starting was fixed. New Jabber icons were added. HTML parsing of links in a chat window was fixed.

          Release Notes: This release features support for skins compatible with Gadu-Gadu. There are fixes and stabilization of code for status changes. There are great improvements of the "dockapp" plugin. The "remote" plugin was removed. There were improvements in support for JEP-0092 & JEP-0030.
