Release Notes: This version adds the divx4linux/divx5linux encoding codec, and a misc encoding options tab with output FPS and output aspect ratio. The detected aspect ratio and length of the source is displayed and can be edited. Users can now choose the header of the output file and the output file size. There is a batch mode based on a queue. Using this means users can encode more than one source in one session. A config window was added. The MPlayer/MEncoder path is now detected in run time. A man page has been added.

Release Notes: In this release, users can encode files even if the mplayer -identify thinks that the file has 0 length. There are spelling and grammar fixes. Problems returning to the gmencoder from mplayer were fixed.

Release Notes: Start position and end position options have been added (-ss and -endpos switches). The configure script detects mencoder/mplayer's path, so having mencoder/mplayer installed in a directory other than /usr/local/bin works.

Release Notes: PCM and copy audio codecs were added, along with rawrgb a nd copy for video. It is now possible to use cropping, scaling, and post-processing filters together in the same ripping proces s. The definitions for the scaling algorithms and the post-proce ssing filters are in a config file called $HOME/.gmencoder_opts or /etc/gmenconder_opts. Examples were included, and many bugs were fixed.
