The GLib mainloop gained a "dispatch to context" functionality that can replace manually created idles in many cases. GLib is now linked against librt and uses monotonic time for timeouts and GPeriod sources. GSource has a new g_source_get_time() that returns monotonic time. Many bugs were fixed.
