Signal handlers connected with g_signal_connect_object() are now automatically disconnected on target object destruction. GIO now has kqueue support for GFileMonitor (BSDs and Mac OS). UNIX signal sources now allow watching SIGUSR1 and SIGUSR2. In g_get_home_dir(), the $HOME variable is no longer ignored, and taken into consideration in favor of GECOS entries. GUnixFdSource was added as a new method to add file descriptors to the main loop. Further new APIs were added. Many bugs were fixed.
