Release Notes: Support for IR remote controls was fixed. MPlayer was upgraded to version 1.0pre3 and ALSA was upgraded to version 1.0rc2. Support for the DirectFB video mode and 3Dfx cards was added. Hotplugging of USB devices is supported. Support was added for the nForce Ethernet controller, for NFS shares, for the Windows 2k/XP multi-boot manager, and for AniMAX remote. It is now possible to boot off the network, using the PXE method.

AutoPlay, XCD support, and a GUI Win32 version of the generator have been added. MPlayer has been added to version 1.0pre2. Release Notes: This version adds a runtime subtitle file selector, TCP/IP and network ethernet support and autoconfiguration with a DHCP client, support and automount for all Windows shares (Samba support), support for Leadtek TV2000 remote, support for homemade LIRC receivers, Italian, Czech, and Slovak language support, a new theme (design and boot logo), and an easy HDD and USB keys installer. The SysLinux bootloader has been replaced by IsoLinux, providing a quicker boot, but without floppy emulation.
