galculator

galculator is a GTK 2/GTK 3-based scientific calculator supporting algebraic mode, RPN, and formula entry mode. Features include arithmetic operations plus precedence handling, full keypad support, trigonometric functions, power, square root, natural and common logarithm, constants (e, PI), and inverse and hyperbolic functions. It supports different number bases (decimal, hexadecimal, octal, and binary) and angle bases (radiant, degree, and grad).

    Release Notes: This release fixes a handful of bugs including result string corruption when toggling the sign on some systems, a hidden menu after restart, and pasting in RPN mode. The Spanish, Turkish, and Hungarian translations were updated.

      Release Notes: This is a quick bugfix release for the recent 2.1.1, which had broken translations.

        Release Notes: This release fixes a handful of bugs, fixes a minor flaw in the build process, and migrates some deprecated GUI elements to recent GTK3. galculator has been translated to Lithuanian.

          Release Notes: This release adds support for quad-precision floating point and up to 112-bit binary arithmetic on systems with libquadmath (gcc >4.6). Several bugs in the expression parsing engine and the GUI have been fixed.

            Release Notes: This first update to the 2.0 series of galculator moves the configuration file to a XDG-conforming location and fixes several bugs in the GUI and parser.

            galculator
            What can be said, its a scientific calculator. It uses GTK2.
            It works. I use it. Sorry I can't get excited over a calculator, but if xcalc doesn't meet your needs, then try this. I'm happy with it. I'm just writting this so its known that this program works. And that someone uses it :-)
